I need strength to leave my bf. 1. He goes through my phone all the time and gets mad when I talk to guys at work. 2. If I say no to sex he still tries to touch me. This is an ongoing issue. 3. I just found out he was texting a girl he used to talk to.

lending you the strength. it helps to break the plan into little tiny steps. "today I'm going to pack up all my things in the bathroom," "today I'll pack up all my shoes." one thing at a time makes it all seem less daunting.

Start writing a note of all the times he has done something, specifically what his actions made you feel (small, unimportant, etc)

You’re not stupid at all. It can be very difficult to leave someone especially when you love them, but at some point you have to question how much do you love yourself. If you love this person more than you then sure, stay, and suffer for this person. But if you love yourself more, and you should, then you deserve to be treated as such.

When it comes to strength, if you feel like you don’t have it in yourself then trust in a power greater than yourself. If you believe in god, use Them. If you have a therapist or a trusted friend/family member , make a plan with them and trust that. It can be scary and tough but in order to get through you have to go through. You can do it

You aren’t stupid. It can happen to anyone. It’s better to end it now and be sad temporarily than live in prolonged and likely escalating misery.

You ain’t stupid; you’re learning. Everyone falls in love with at least one asshole. You can’t change him, but you can recognize that you deserve better. It will hurt for a bit, but once you’re away, you will have the space to learn to love yourself. Then you’ll never have to go through this bs again.

I do all of these things except the sex one, I wouldn’t call the rest abuse

yeah that's why I went on to list a concrete step that could be helpful. do you try to come off as an asshole immediately in every interaction?
