agree. having lots of friends who are women usually means he’s more prepared to be in a relationship with a woman (romantic or platonic) where he views them as an equal. and having a mixed friend group (make sure his male and female friends are also friends with eachother at least somewhat) usually means he’s not just surrounding himself with women to get close to them and protect him if he does something wrong

i’ve definitely met men who surround themselves only with women and pretend to be like super feminist or whatever and really they’re just using it as an ego boost and predating on women and treating them poorly. but if he had a healthy mix of both that’s a really good sign that he has a healthy social life and views women as people and his peers

I want to be an SLP though and that field is mostly women. In some of my classes I’m the only guy in the room. Also most of them are white so I stand out even more 😭😭.

i appreciate this statement cuz i’m a girl with guy and girl friends and my ex swore to everything that i did not need guy friends bc he is a dude. i love people and connecting with all kinds, i had to leave bro.
