It means: the sex was good, but you’re just a casual. I’m not into you like that.

I have been the guy in this situation, stayed up till 8am talking and literally went for a walk to see the sunrise. The truth is that i noticed red flags but didn’t say them in the moment. Didn’t want to hurt her or make it awkward. But that doesn’t mean i didn’t notice them or remember. She was fun. And we vibed. But she wasn’t marriage material, if that makes sense. Just not my soulmate.

Not red flags as in she’s a drug addict or horrible person or whatever. But soft red flags. Like she may not be as ambitious as me, we may have different world views like she is too optimistic / fairytale-dreaming, etc.

Sometimes we just want someone to make us feel good. Physically and emotionally, and so we spend time with you. But that doesn’t make you entitled to a relationship or anything like that.
