Heating pad, cooling pad, something fluffy, eating out to avoid having to clean dishes, or my partner cleaning dishes, snuggles, forehead kisses, things that make me feel safe/nested. My favorite snack, not having to worry about the upkeep of my apartment

Every woman is different, so just ask her what she needs

Dove chocolates, a heating pad and putting on legally blonde with my feet rubbed always made me happy. Also, drawing a hot bath is very relaxing too. So sweet of you!

That’s very true, that’s why I was j asking for others opinions so I can just do certain things without being asked or told yk?

Yes! You can get them at any grocery store or target typically. I just like the milk chocolate but also what the other person said, everyone is different so it’s best to ask!

I get it. It’s definitely easier to just ask directly what you can do for her, shows her you care about *her* and don’t think every woman has the same copy and paste preferences

Ofc ofc. I have asked too, she’s just very independent and doesn’t like to ask for help or ask for things and when she does, she feels bad about it… that’s why I wanted to get some ideas so she doesn’t have to feel bad about asking or needing or wanting

I would just generally baby her tbh, like make sure there’s enough pads/tampons and whatever pain pills work for her, and also make sure she’s hydrating with whatever drink she likes. I usually go for a gatorlyte when I’m down bad. Also, pro tip that she might not know about, eating a steak before a period can help reduce cramping and other symptoms

Tried telling her that steak is a good source of iron that’s lost during menstruation

Yeah, tbf that was also my first point when I was given that info lol. A steak every month in this economy isn’t the most doable thing. But I’m sure any kind of boost in iron is good!

Also since no one has said it yet, dark chocolate is another food that’s supposed to help with cramping. I also personally love dark chocolate so it doubles as a sweet treat, and I generally really crave sweets on my period

Allegedly. I’m not sure if it helps me bc it’s a placebo effect or bc it actually helps, but I’ve definitely read that dark chocolate has something in it that helps
