Is it wrong to think my therapist (37M) is secretly wanting to date me (27F)? He keeps asking about how I’m doing, what my love life is like, how my day is going, bad break ups- super personal stuff I don’t think he’d ask other clientele and I love it.

He is doing his job. He doesn’t want to date you, if he did he’d be a bad therapist and deserve to get good license taken away

I will bet everything he asks everyone the same thing because it’s his JOB. Have u seen the lady who made the several part series on TikTok about how she thought something similar? Go watch some of the videos about it, a lot of people explain why she would think that way and why the therapist is NOT in love with her.

My therapist also asks about my love life, my day, bad breakups, we even talk about my sexual identity/hookups etc. he 100% asks other clients these questions.

But also it isn’t uncommon for people to end up dating their doctors,nurse,therapist and etc.

That’s what I’m saying! The questions he asks me are super personal and i can tell he likes asking questions to me, especially when it comes to people I’ve been dating and men I’m attracted to. He clearly has a thing for me

So one of the questions he asks me is "do you happen to see a pattern in men you've been dating or attracted to " and "have you ever considered dating men outside of that interest". Why else would he say that if he wasn't referring to himself?
