month. Although I am quite uncomfortable with my private parts in general, so the position they put you in is not exactly comforting either for a stranger to see. Some doctors forget that they may do that all day but the patient won't always be comfortable. But my experience is very rare, I wouldn't worry to much and you know your pain tolerances and vulnerability which mostly determines your experience. 2/3

In the middle of the insertion she was asking how my day was, if i have a boyfriend, etc just random chit chat when I made it very clear I was uncomfortable with the whole situation. I know it was to help calm me down but I tried to make it clear she was making it worse and she just didn't listen. I don't blame her, but in my case it made it worse to have someone inexperienced who also had to be told instructions multiple times.

Nope, no weight changes at all actually. I don't know anyone in real life that had that symptom either from and iud, definitely heard it from regular birth control tho.

Completely normal in terms of cycle length, but it did get lighter and what used to be my lightest days are now my heaviest. Never have irregular or spotting

It varied from medium flow to light spotting

omg lol wait i forgot u already said u had no spotting😭😭one last thing tho i promise- would u describe the pain from the insertion as like stabbing and excrutiating or a really bad period cramp? (if u knew what period cramps were like bc u did say u had little to no cramps for periods)

It's been awhile so i might be remembering wrong, but i believe it was more stabbing. Almost like they were trying to just shove it in and it wouldn't fit 😭. That's why it's important to be relaxed it makes that part a lot easier. You don't really feel it like a cramp during the insertion. I think it was more stabbing in that area, and a more painful version of taking a tampon out dry

No problem! I personally have no problem with period sex and the men I dated during that time didn’t either, so we just went for it. Though I may have gotten less head than I deserved during that because period head is another level and I get if men don’t want to do that
