Am I overthinking or is “I’ll think about it” a weird response from my friend that I asked to hangout. I’d prefer an excuse or straight up get told no lol

A little bit. I’d take it differently if they said it a different way like “I’m not sure if I’m feeling it today. I’ll let you know though!” .. that makes it seem like they’re judging if hanging out with you in worth their time😬 (but they most likely didn’t mean it like that I’d assume)

Whats weirder is we had defenite plans, I was just checking in to see if the plan was still on that’s when she said “I’ll have to think about it”. I was so confused like she already said yes 2 days before now changed her answer
