Anyone else get the ick when a man asks them to stop doing something "for them?" Like if they ask you to stop drinking or smoking, etc.

As a man I just get the ick in general whenever someone does that "for me 🥺🥺🥺?"

Are they doing it for them or for your health? But if it’s small things like “you should cut back on the coffee you spend way too much” then it’s an ick

I'm by far not an alcohol or anything. I drink VERY occasionally and he knew I was gonna have a few drinks this night and went on a whole rant about how alcohol is poison and drinking is terrible. I was like no yeah I know that's why I use everything in moderation. Same with weed.

I mean, if you’ve expressed that you want to save more money or you’re spending too much, he can just be offering advice to help you meet a goal.. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I definitely wouldn’t call that an ick
