I was SA as a child. I get these feelings that are so big, I feel like something is trying to constantly suffocate me and my mind is too loud. Can anyone relate , if yes, any advice to make it stop

Criminalize that person in your mind and have those in a close support circle to you protect you and reassure you’re safe. My cousin is fucking disgusting and I know my brother would protect me if we ever met at a family reunion again.

Curl up into a ball, in a corner, press yourself into your surroundings, do whatever makes your body safe. Then ground yourself in reality by reminding yourself that you’re safe, and you have the tools to fight back/say no, survive if you were in a situation like that again. Let your body process the feelings

That’s not what I said, I said look up somatic therapy tools. TOOLS not therapy. That would include bilateral stimulation, grounding techniques (5,4,3,2,1) etc
