Western feminism has always focused more on white women's rights than anything. Even during women's suffrage the fight wasn't for the right for women to vote, but the right for WHITE women to vote and everyone else was an afterthought.

white people aren’t systematically oppressed by racist beliefs. so sure, you can say racist things about a white person, but ultimately it does nothing. on the other hand, being racist towards poc reinforces an already existing, oppressive social structure and fosters an environment for that structure to stay in place. that’s an incredibly important distinction that needs to be understood by more people.
