has anyone have any tips for getting vaseline out of hair? i had surgery on my scalp 2 weeks ago and got my stitches out, but the spot is still go greasy :/

Clarifying shampoo or dawn dish soap

Maybe a large bowl and a soaking it in dawn? I’ve used it to get it off my hands but I’m not sure about surgery scars
