Hi, so I have a co worker and she likes me and I started to think she was nice and would take her out, but then I found out she was 18 and I’m 22. How do I let her down without being mean ?

Did she tell you she likes you? Then tell her she’s nice but the age gap makes you uncomfortable

From a fellow guy, is it that the age gap makes you personally uncomfortable, or you are afraid of how society will judge it? My advice is, if you both like each other and vibe well, don’t let stigma around age gaps get in the way of that.

Good instinct to be careful about that sort of thing. Workplace romance is dangerous as is, and mixing it with age gap can seriously damage your reputation. Switch jobs and date her, or stay and don't date her

Unless OP is her manager or something, I don’t really see an issue with them dating as coworkers.
