Do most people not know that if you don’t get married then you have to give the ring back? My sister just lost $5k because she pawned the engagement ring since they didn’t get married. It’s considered a “conditional gift” so no marriage = no ring

Except for some states that actually do allow you to keep the ring depending on who ended it and why. I know because I live in Texas which is one of those states

Well technically this only applies if you go to court, most people cannot afford that so unless you are marrying someone rich you really don’t have to worry about
