I am also a teacher. I have seen some of the best kids be from every group. The label of gender doesn’t define how a person is, it mainly dictates how they are treated in society. Putting women on this pedestal also isn’t helping

That is just your experience. I have met many men and women who are great people, and others who are not. As a teacher you shouldn't treat these boys as if they will grow up to be horrible people as then they are more likely to become a self fulfilling prophecy. Every person deserves respect no matter their gender. Male teachers are so important for young boys to have role models in their lives so please don't discriminate against them

I agree. Some men are fantastic students and ppl, and those are the men/boys I appreciate. I recognize a good student when I see one, male or female.

Its great that you like women but thats a personal preference thing. Unfortunately a lot of what you perceive to be innate female traits is just dated sexism (this is not saying youre sexist! But the idea that women are this “more delicate” species is from that). A lot of these traits are just learned behaviors (and yeah when people dont pay attention to etiquette, you notice both sexes are pretty much the same in terms of casual life behaviors lol)

Most women’s “bias against dudes” comes from the fact that every single one of us has been mistreated by a dude at some point. We cannot go looking for spiders at night without thinking about how many friends and weapons we will bring. Not because we are weak or vulnerable, but because we are the target of some 6-15% of men. Because we are all being hunted. If that creates negative feelings, don’t come to me all butt hurt about it.

Understandable... I jsut don't like it when people say it's only men that commit these acts. Because even though that small percentage of men is the majority, that doesn't give anyone the right to overlook the small percentage of females that are too.

Part of the problem is that men are often so quick to worry about how they are perceived, and so slow to do shit about their rapist friends. It’s like the majority don’t give a shit until it affects them personally. So many spineless men would rather have social cohesion than lose the approval of their sexist, rapist friends by standing up to them. All this raping would be much harder to actually accomplish if there weren’t so many enablers. I’m mad at the enablers too.
