i assume you mean Bactrim, but you really should not be doing what you’re doing, you not taking a full course or taking the same antibiotic for the same thing causes your body to become resistant to that antibiotic therefore when you get another infection somewhere else then it won’t work for you, i think you should tell your doctor that you’ve been doing that because your body has probably built up a resistance to sulfa drugs by now

and if it’s painful try phenazopyridine (over the counter azo) it’ll turn your pee red but it vastly eliminates the pain to pee, the redness in your pee comes from the pill being red and it secretes red like if you were to drop it in water it’s like a stain but damn it does help a lot

It was prescribed to me as a regular antibiotic once a day. I stopped taking it a while ago, but it’s the one they prescribe for UTIs so I just took it again and it went away

yeah, and that’s how your body gets used to it and makes it not work for anything else, it goes away, but then when you get sick or have another UTI later then it won’t work and you’ll just keep needing stronger and stronger antibiotics, in a sense that is how you create a super bug

Idk I mean it worked? I just took it twice instead of once. The prescription I have is even what they use for utis.
