Some people make having conversations really hard and that applies to any gender.

maybe they’re just not that into you/ aren’t that interested in talking to you. i frequently have conversations with women ive just met that go really well. it’s been my own experience that women are better conversationalists and better at asking questions and showing empathy

personally i’m only really good at texting someone once we talk irl or have a long phone call, i need a sense of their vibe i guess

I have gotten some absurdly dry text convos from women but I can’t say it’s necessarily a gender thing

i disagree entirely, in my experience women are socialized to be better conversationalists because they are socialized to care more about other people and thus ask more questions, many men i know rarely ask me questions when we talk even if i know them well
