What love language would you classify baking as? I hate giving people gifts, but love giving them food I’ve made. I also don’t love doing a lot of stuff for people (I will do it, but it’s not the way I want to say I love you).

It’s still kinda gift giving, but maybe it qualifies as acts of service? Since eating is a need and not a want, you are servicing them by feeding them? Or, if you cook with them, it can be quality time :)

Gift giving and act of service combined! I like making handmade things including baked goods!

Haha that was my exact dilemma. I only like baking so no other part of acts or service or gift giving. I also like baking by myself. It was a really weird debate.

Well then, maybe it doesn’t fall into love language categories, maybe it can just be you enjoy baking and, because you enjoy it, it brings you joy to bake for others too. Simple :)

I’m glad other people struggle with this too. It’s such a niche way to say I love you.
