According to my crim prof, SA and related crimes actually have a lot more to do with taking pleasure in the power dynamic than just wanting sex and being willing to take it if not offered. My theory is that because those who score in the highest levels of things like aggression, impulsivity, lack of empathy, ambition, etc. (traits common in rapists) men are more likely to commit these crimes.

only recently was “made to penetrate” measured by the cdc as a category for rape. i may be wrong on the exact statistic but it’s something like 1 in 9 men have reported being forced to penetrate with the rapist being a woman over 80% of the time. it’s still less than male on female SA but the effort to research female on male SA is very new
