You have got to put your phone away. Set it down and find something else to do. Try not to be alone right now, are you living with family?

Op, it's very normal and very okay to grieve your relationship. 3 years is a long time for some people. Don't expect it to be something you get over with in a week. It could take months, however do not let that leave you stagnant. Get closer with family and friends, keep socializing, get into a hobby or a job that can keep you occupied. This is just a hurdle.

You need to give yourself time. It’s been a single day. Of course it hurts, you two were together for a very long time.

Allow yourself to be sad but not longer than a month. You can use heartbreak as fuel to become the best version of yourself. Try to distract yourself with the gym, getting a job, a new show, or reading a good book. Sitting in your emotions makes you dwell which makes things worse

Thank you all for the words, I’m genuinely trying to just comprehend this all, snd it’s been horrible. Like I lost my best friend and bf, but I will grieve and make it out. I needed more kind words so I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart 🫶

First, girl I am so so so sorry this happened to you. I had a similar experience of getting totally ghosted after a year and honestly what helped was going to the gym and walking in parks. I was so emotionally distraught I was having an awful time sleeping and spending the time working out or walking in the park gave my mind something to focus on besides the despair. Also reach out to your friends, don’t let yourself drown in self isolation and you’ll be okay

I know, and that’s what makes it hurt. I lost my bf and my best friend, bc only recently it got bad, I miss him. And his embrace and presence. It’s straight hell

that's horrible. i know this is a very small consolation, and your heart won't like this line of thinking, but anyone who would end a three year relationship over text is not worth your pain and your tears. that's just awful.

Anything helps honestly, I feel like everything has flipped, I had made sm progress mentally and now it’s all in a regression, and i hate myself for giving a man that much power over me

i believe in you. going through a (kind of) similar thing right now. it helps me a little bit to think that people all the world over throughout all history have experienced deep heartbreak and come out on the other side okay.

Im so proud of you! Take some time to rest, relax, and be proud of taking this first step towards healing. Go have a sweet treat or watch a comfort movie! Your feelings are so valid and its okay to let yourself process your emotions and take it slow
