What’s weird is my dad was never one of these men. Like he arguably did more in-depth cleaning than my mom did most of the time. But then I started hanging with guys around my age and they’re way more aloof than he is 😭

It is not a gender problem. My old roommate would spill kombucha and not clean it up or never wash her bedsheets. Some people are just like that unfortunately

This isn’t a gender issue I fear living with my roommates I experience the same without it being a man. My dad’s cleaner than them and I even I found my dad lazy to clean up sometimes. I’m having to deep clean like every other day with how messy my apartment is

I mean not everyone cares about their places being spotless. I’m sure the windowsill in the room I never go in has dust, I don’t care

I’m living with my fiancé right now and while he’s at work I’m just cleaning the apartment.
I have work to do, but I can’t focus because the corners of the ceiling are dusty and I can’t have that

I admit I’m like this too. It’s mostly b/c of OCD. Like if I start cleaning I HAVE to go all the way (which has taken days before btw) so it’s just a really high energy cost

So it’s way easier to just… not. Thankfully my brain categorizes food & drink differently, so it’s not dirty dirty.
