Honestly if you go to target their quality is ok enough that doesnt turn my ears green. Younger girls like butterflies and cutesy things like that

I wouldn’t get it from Claire’s. Great idea for jewelry but other places still have cute things for kids that won’t take 3 wears for it to turn green

Maybe you could just get a Claire’s gift card, and offer to take her shopping to spend it one day, instead. Or pick a “best friends forever” half heart necklace and tell her to give the other half to her best friend. Mood rings are cool, too
