Ok , so i finally got a IUD ( first time on any type of birth control ) it’s day 2 and it feels so uncomfortable like it’s poking/scratching me. I’ve felt for the string and it’s at the end of my ( yk ) and idk what to think.
I also got an iud placed recently (last week) and I didn’t experience that but I was also kinda crampy so that probably overtook any other feelings. I would say it’s the iud settling so I’d say wait a week or so and if it’s still painful then go in and have them check

Sometimes they cut the string a little too long. Theres a chance it’s not positioned correctly, but most likely it’s just the way they cut it and they can fix it very easily as soon as you can get an appointment

I’ve tried contacting the office but they won’t get back to me until monday. The string has been in the same spot since the night of day 1. Is it suppose to come down this far ? or is it ok to suspect that it moved from where it was initially.

One thing that happened when i got the paraguard is it did get shifted and i could feel the copper stem sticking out of my cervix. If yours is dislodged you might be able to gently pull it out, thats what i did

see but idk if it’s the string or the actual iud. I don’t want to pull on it because if it’s not dislodged I don’t want to mess it up yk.
