I think in general if you leave something in someone’s own place they live and they actually don’t know you, that’s when people would be most likely to “steal”. It’s like if someone dropped money and they were already around the block when you noticed. And some might think it’s a test to get them to message you again and just be like nah I’ll pocket it. I’ve heard of ppl purposefully leaving things behind for that reason
i dont care one bit if he shouldnt have "left it out" so he was "easy to steal from" or if i thought he was "testing me" what happened to common decency????? literally just being a decent person w morals? im so shocked by these comments & each subsequent one defending literal theft just made my faith in humanity drop lower & lower when normally i have pretty high hopes for us. this is insane😭
yes i agree he shouldnt be doing it & its not going to be good for him or his mindset in the long run but at the same time even ifff i thought i was being "tested" by a guy leaving his money laying around like that i still wouldnt steal it?? thats the part im stuck on like ofc hes being dumb but the amount of ppl defending why taking the money is okay & coming up w excuses is whats concerning to me😕
More like it’s his fault if he did he can’t say do they feel entitled to his money bc of sex if he’s doing it on purpose. That’s like someone giving you a gift and being expecting to get it back if something happened. He’s just stupid and trying to feel victimized. I wouldn’t steal it either but it doesn’t mean he needs to feel sorry if they did bc he’s doing it intentionally
