Its not only for the cute tanlines its also just part of the beach experience. I like to go to the river and warm up by tanning and then swim for a bit then tan when i get cold cuz the rivers here are glacially fed and cold as fuck

It’s a vacation flex. I personally don’t enjoy tanning because I get sunburned bad every time despite being Hispanic 😭
