but it seems her fiancé is the one that’s wanting to get married asap. She seems to have taken offence to this & stopped responding to me. I’m really just trying to look out for her as I don’t want her to regret rushing into marriage.

Then he’s most definitely trying to trap her in an abusive relationship. He’s probably whispering lies about you in her ear right now, to prevent you from taking his prey. If she doesn’t want to hear it, that’s her choice and you can’t change that. I know people in abusive (not romantic) relationships, and I pretty much just predict their abusers’ behavior. Every time I’m right, I point it out. Constant reinforcement. Progress is slow, but we’re heading toward freedom.
