Cut ties asap. Don’t let them keep you as an option they can be with whenever it’s convenient for them. That’s very selfish and you deserve better

If they broke up with you without staying upfront that it was a break and not a permanent thing, they’re a dick. And probably only decided they wanted you around after that dumped you. They’re not worth sticking around for imo
