How come when girls want a guy to pay for all their stuff they want a provider man but when a man wants a woman to tend the house he gets told he wants a mom

Those are two completely separate scenarios and different ppl

I genuinely think you need to take a break from social media for a bit. Using social media as an example or representation of all women is simply not true. Most of the shit that’s posted is rage bait people post to get views - men AND women! Normally the women I see IRL, it’s two different women with two different perspectives. The women who want a provider typically have no problem being a SAHM & adhering to gender roles in the family. +

Provider / nurturer.. they don’t want to be a maid or a mom. They want to be a loving partner. And if a woman expects you to pay for *everything* , that might be an issue. That’s only okay if the man willingly offers in my opinion..but it depends on the person. Some will be awful and take advantage of that type of dynamic:/

It can be two different people saying this stuff? I don’t need a provider man but I’m certainly not going to tending the house, I have my own job.

I think that this take has some merit, but dude u gotta get off socials and just go out into the real world lmao

Because the woman is supposed to be his partner not his cleaner if he wants someone to attend the house so bad he can get his mom to do it or do it himself

Because both men and women typically only use the word “provider” to refer to money and nothing else

I don’t let guys pay for my stuff. I like earning money and being my own breadwinner.

Yeah? I’ve seen plenty of it. The same women who want a provider hate on men who want a home maker

No. And paying for things doesn’t really make you a provider. I have my own money. And I’m not gonna clean up after someone other grown adult regardless of what I believe. A pet or a child yes but the child will also learn to clean up their messes eventually. But an adult who had 18+ years to learn how to do it no

Dawg I’ve seen it loads of times. Go to those TikTok’s about splitting bills. And good on you for having your own money. But the women I’m talking about don’t want to work and want a man to buy them everything yet hate when a guy wants a home maker. I’ve explained this clearly already

That’s TikTok. Have you seen it in real life? And just bc you’ve seen it doesn’t mean it’s a really universal thing and it’s still different scenarios. It can be different ppl that say those things

The problem is that men expect the woman to be the one cooking and cleaning everyday when almost all women also are working full time. This is the norm. That’s the problem. Most women are not stay at home.

And that is clearly not what I’m referencing if you’d read my post. I’m talking about that large amount of women I see online who don’t want to work and want a man to buy them everything yet refuse to do any house work.

If one person pays bills then the other should take care of home stuff. But many of those same women complain and say that these guys want a mom instead. If both people work then both people split house work

Well that’s not a large amount of women in general. I don’t know/see any even online really. Idk what your algorithm is showing you

Idk if you’ve seen the whole trend of splitting bills. If a woman pays anything there’s around 50+ comments say I hope this love never finds me

I think your algorithm is messed up and keeps showing you that stuff bc you’re spending time on it and reading comments and stuff. I spend way too much time online and haven’t seen that once

Obviously I’m sure it exists, plenty of people exist that believe all sorts of things. I don’t think it’s as common as you think it is at all. Also I’m confused if we are talking about dating or marriage. What kind of girlfriend is cleaning their boyfriends place

The women who dont adhere to strict gender norms are the ones most likely to have a problem with cooking & cleaning for their man. Ofc not EVERYBODY falls into these same categories and maybe does have this mentality you speak of. But I guarantee you it’s not as common as you think. These two women go after two different types of men & I would like to think they discuss with their partner the lifestyle that works for both of them.
