if we're talking genuinely then it shouldn't be stigmatized and men going to therapy on their own accord is always a green flag. if we're talking "men lonliness epidemic" then my opinion changes.

They created that problem for themselves by not supporting each other and shaming each other for having emotions and then turning around and complaining that no one cares for them

Men’s mental health is something that is such an huge problem with so many different factors playing into the “how did this happen” type aspect of it. However there is also a significant portion of men who use mental health struggles to blame women for their problems, instead of working on facing them. They need to de-stigmatize therapy, and be more willing to share with male friends their problems.

I think men don’t take it seriously enough. Pretty much every woman I talk to appreciates men who are open and communicative about their feelings and needs. Men on the other had often feel like it’s “gay” or otherwise weird to express themselves. They’re causing their own problems.

i’ve never understood the “epidemic” but i agree with you and i’m happy to see a lot of us open up and those stigmas are just so appalling to me

i rly never understood how it’s gay smh. in a lot of cultures like my own, i’m hispanic, so opening up about anything like anxiety or depression is frowned upon or dismissed so i get it but i agree they’re causing their own problems by sweeping it under the rug

This! Like they complain about how women have community and they don't but expect women to cultivate one for them. And if they do have a community its to bond over misogyny and homophobia
