If women murdered their rapists as freely as men rape, I suspect both the justice system and men would suddenly care a whole lot more about the prevalence of sexual assault

Women who do murder their rapists get lifetime in jail while practically every rapist walks free

Coming from a man, if we found out one of our boys did that shit, we’re taking him “fishing” and he’s not coming back

I mean maybe? But let’s be real men (and women) do NOT treat male victims of sexual assault well as it is so I feel like this is debatable

look i’m just saying if aborting your rapists baby is already a murder charge why not just murder your rapist🤭

doubtful. they'd just say it's the nature of women and use it as an excuse to refuse their voting rights or something like that

Tbh i genuinely think the only think that would happen would be they would punish women sadly. Harsh jail time for the stabbing. You see how they write headlines when men are criminals and women are victims. “Woman brutally attacks man who she lured to dinner” no mention of her getting raped

True but that also has a lot to do with the toxic atmosphere both men and the justice system have towards victims period. If they don’t believe women who are assaulted more often then of course they write off men and act like they can’t be abused. It’s all really sad and disgusting and male victims deserve more support as well

I’m not blaming you or any other victim in any way nor saying you should even have to be in a position to go after someone because they disrespected you in that way

trust me i would have loved to kill him. a lot of women prolly think that. just saying it’s not easy for a lot of women to physically overpower someone in that position.

Oh I get it. I def couldn’t have overpowered the guy who assaulted me. He had over a foot on me so I was never going to get out of that situation

True, but part of it is because women can confide in most women in cases of SA while men get shamed by other men when they get SA’d saying they wished it would have happened to them.

Gun, Poison, Hitman, Bomb, Car, Carbon Monoxide, etc. trust I could kill a man twice my size if I truly wanted to and had time to plan (and thought I could get away with it)

Also just to clarify something, OP is talking about after the fact going to kill the dude, not in the moment or anything. She talking about revenge not self defense

Here y’all go again. If you feel like no one cares about male victims speak up for them in a separate conversation, not as a rebuttal and deflection. Y’all don’t even care if the only time you think about men is when we bring up women’s sexual assault. Why should anyone else care?

Exactly. Victims are in fact victims, regardless of their gender. But, there is a cleared history in the difference that men and women respond to conversations around sexual assault. Men are the main perpetrators of SA, men are the main ones in the justice system who were in charge of going after the perpetrators, and they are the ones who to continue to support/uphold environments where their male counterparts do not feel comfortable coming to them when something bad happens.

I’m not saying that there aren’t women who don’t believe that male victims exist, think male victims are overreacting, etc. because horrible women like that are definitely around. But we’ve all seen a post from a male victim online while where women trying to be supportive and offer him comfort and there will be men in the comment saying “I wish that happened to me” or “ you should be happy about it”.
