Not preferable but not a dealbreaker I guess. In this political environment being apolitical can be dubious but it’s better than being a right wing extremist, though being apolitical could be viewed as being complacent. To each their own.

No. Apolitical means you either don’t care or are ill informed. Because at this point everything is political. And I do mean EVERYTHING- if you care about food costs at the grocery store you’re political.

Personally, I’d be fine with it as long as he is supportive of my own interest in politics. I’m not aligned with any particular party, as I’m more interested in political and social issues. Obviously, I’m not going to expect him to engage in political conversations with me, but as long as he’s cool with respecting my perspectives, I’ll respect his.

I mean personally it’s not ideal, I prefer a man that’s political in at least some aspect so I can have a grasp at how they view how the gov and economy but it’s not a total dealbreaker either. I’d likely date a man who’s apolitical over a man who’s a conservative

Absolutely not. One of my majors is political science for good reason.

While not apolitical, my political life is nearly nonexistent because I refuse to let that control my life. I have my opinions and beliefs, but at the end of the day I’m not letting that ruin it.
