Guys tend to be more direct in resolving conflicts, addressing issues head-on to reach an understanding and move past tensions quickly. Hence, they typically know where they stand with each other, whereas women, who are typically more empathetic and emotional, will at the experience of potentially being offensive, be indirect.

I think women tend to take things a bit more personally but don’t want to just talk about the issue whereas guys tend to have thicker skin about certain things because they’re used to it.
