If you’re a decent person it’s gonna happen. You can’t control their emotions or how they react, but you can control yours. Try not to fret over it too much.

I’m a lesbian, my guy friends still confess to me knowing that. I wish it would stop because it ruins friendships but there’s not much you can do about it.

1) lots of creeps out there who befriend women to try to get laid 2) also a lot of lonely benign dudes who develop feelings towards women who are kind to them so not all guys who confess to female friends are weird, but enough are that it makes sense to be wary. it's only happened to me once but i was nice to the guy out of sympathy & he started following me around 😬
