I was hanging out with a girl and she asked to cuddle with me. 30 mins in and I asked if she wanted to make out. She said “one step at a time”. I took her home later. Does she like me or is she just trying to string me along?

I’m not disappointed exactly. Just confused I guess. In my mind, two straight people of opposite genders cuddling is romantic in a sense? Maybe I’m wrong idk. So I asked about making out. I wasn’t trying to be a creep but the reactions to this post seem to imply I did something wrong. She asked to cuddle, spoon, whatever. I asked to make out, she said “one step at a time”. I don’t think I did anything wrong.

Well from what I can assume if this isn't a hook up situation then i guess asking to make out after cuddling might've just been too much for her in one sitting. Doesn't mean you did anything wrong, just not ready yet

Idk maybe I’m biased but from personal experience I’ve invited over men for “cuddles” and they come over expecting to a whole hu and I’m like… I literally explicitly stated this was just for cuddles. Idk if it’s a situation like that or what but from your reaction it sounds like ur disappointed you weren’t able to go further
