Its hasn’t happened to me and I’ve been on three different types of birth controls, but there is a possibility it fluctuate your weight. Also, I was off of it for almost a year and I personally think my hormones/pms are worse on the pill. That’s just my personal experience!

The birth control I’m on is a progestin and estrogen. They tried to switch me to an only estrogen one and I had a migraine for a month because they wouldn’t change it back. Talk to your Dr and be very specific about if you have migraines regularly, period info, and anything else you think is important. When I first started mine I had a period for a month and a half so be ready to expect a thrown off cycle for a bit if it’s irregular. My bc also helped clear up my skin and I had SEVERE eczema

Im taking a lesser dosage and breast soreness will be very new but expect your period around week 2/3 of taking it because it will keep you very regular. Tweak your diet to help circumvent weight gain because it will make you crave foods around your period and healthier choices like fruit and salad will be important.

Yeah any more questions? It’s not super scary and you mostly won’t notice it but be careful of air travel and blood clots.

How does that work? Like should I just move my feet or wear compression socks or something?

I would walk the aisle every half hour and book an aisle seat if you’re paranoid but compression socks are a great idea. Read the warnings and it’ll have blood clots in there. Happens to 1 in a mil but can happen during long periods of stagnancy on more potent hormones

If you start dating someone while being on it then it can influence your taste I personally don’t have experience with this but it can put you more in your feelings about him and other things because it is actively supplementing your body with hormones that effect your brain chem. I get horny before my period like standard ovulation but haven’t seen too much of an effect on attraction

But it helped to clear it up as well. Also, do. Not. Miss. Days. It’ll mess up your period, if I accidentally forget for 2 days my period starts and lasts for a few days. It’ll help a lot with how heavy your flow is, cramps as well. I haven’t experienced any weight gain but it has been harder to lose weight.
