Like idk guys the joke is getting old. this is as tall we will be for the rest of our lives. We are grown women. We don’t look like a child in any other way can we please stop treating grown adults like they are some innocent baby who is too young to consent . I’m glad we’re weary of pedos ig but come on. Oh absolutely. I’m shorter and I have a very young face. I’ve constantly been mistaken as younger, and been hit on by freshmen when I was a senior. Even now, I have to wonder if compliments about me using the word “cute”is because I look childish or because of what I actually look like. Short women are SO infantilized it’s ridiculous.

I’m 5’1 and my bf is 6’3. I am not dating him because of his height but instead because he cares so deeply for me and would sacrifice the world just to make me happy. People will make comments about us all the time. We will be walking around the mall and have people stare at us and whisper as we walk past. I’ll have people ask me at least once every other month if he is hurting me. People think he groomed me even tho I am older than him. I have been asked before at bars if I need help from him

I’m a similar height difference with my bf. And same, height was bottom of the consideration. I’m also older than him, which always makes the situation feel so weird, tbf I’ve also had someone online call me a pedo when they found out out she difference (two years) people love throwing that word around. Also what kind of comments do you get? Cause your situation sounds wild

Oh it’s okay, I found a really great guy (now) but I dealt with a lot of weirdness around my age. A 12 year old thought I was like 15 when I was 19. So it makes things a lot harder. I’ve even struggled with people taking me seriously.
