I have the opposite of that problem. I believe every girl I have befriended is genuine. I wonder if I’m just naive

I don’t think other girls are fake but I do feel like I run into the same problem frequently where I can make a lot of like “surface level” friends that are good for hanging out with, but I can’t really share anything super deep with them

Every friend I have ever had has switched up on me so I relate to this more than you know

All my friends switched up on me in middle school and it scarred me 😭 I also have trouble trusting girls and making female friendships too. But I’ve found a few that I’m 98% sure genuinely care about me

No actually. Though to be fair I have my two besties and we have been friends since middle school. I find that fake people will show themselves eventually so I just make friends regardless

I relate that’s why I’m friends with a lot of guys, nah I ain’t a pick me, I’ve genuinely tried to be friends with girls but they’re fake and dramatic, I’d rather get wings and go play in mud than get my nails done and go shopping

No that’s very real. I have my two besties who I’ll tell things to but most of my other friends are guys by association

Rlly I feel like it’s the opposite for me. All the girls are always so nice and the guys stir up so much drama I barely have male friends anymore

No. I do struggle to make friends but I don’t think it’s because they are fake, I’m just autistic. All my closest friends are women. Maybe you’re around the wrong type, aren’t asking the right questions, or come off in a bad way. I’ve noticed this trend of people seeing really “girly girls” who like to talk about makeup and stuff as shallow but I’ve talked to a few and we’ve had great discussions on everything from philosophy to the cultural impact of Phineas and ferb.

(I’m not saying you assume “girly girls” are shallow just that there’s a systemic objectification of attractive and stereotypically feminine women that can also impact the way society views their intellectual capabilities and character.)
