i work in a research lab studying intimate partner violence, this is not true. the rates of female perpetration against their partners is also high but it is not as high or severe as the reverse.

women are more likely to report that does not mean that women abuse more are more violent. multiple studies show that men are generally more physically violent than women. i mean just look at crime stats. men account for the vast majority of violent offenders, that’s not a reporting error

this is not a dig at men, or me saying men are all violent and women are always victims. there are many female perpetrators and male victims, and society and the legal system needs to do a better job handling it. but it is just a fact that more men perpetrate, i literally do research on this
