It’s a manipulative industry that promises women they will become rich. Young women are encouraged to start as soon as they turn 18, and it’s glorified as being easy “free money” online all the time. The truth is that the average creator makes under $200/month, it is very unlikely to find success in that line of “work” unless you are already wealthy enough for not only cosmetic procedures but also marketing teams and ads.
It’s also much more difficult to maintain beauty such as hairlessness, hair and makeup being done, and being completely blemish free all over your entire body. It also affects creators mentally, I think around 80%? of them develop depression, most have heightened insecurities from comparing themselves to other more successful women which is part of the “job”, and many have shared that they’ve lost interest in sex with their partners because it has become a chore or annoyance as any “job” is.
The “top 1% of creators” really is the top 1% and you have as much of a chance of becoming the real world top 1% like Jeff Bezos as you do becoming a top 1% OF creator. It’s just easier to convince young women that since they’re averagely pretty they’ll make it with some dirty mirror nude selfies. And they get validation from the few people who do subscribe to believe for a little while that it’s actually working. But they will lose their friends and family, future opportunities, and dignity.
