Serious question, if you have or had an IUD, did your period cramps become severely worse? I’ve been having the most excruciating period cramps for the past 8 months. Help a girl out before I take myself to the ER and spend a bunch of money😭

excruciating? def get it checked out. copper iud is known for potentially making periods more painful/heavier flow but it should not be debilitating.

Mine became so bad I couldn’t do it. Turns out it wasn’t cramps it was my IUD falling out!!!! Anyways I got it removed and got the arm implant and I love it more than anything

Mine is the same. My cramps are so excruciating I can barely move and it makes me puke. Been dealing with this for two years now, got an ultrasound my iud is in perfect place but I’ve heard of people who’s iud imbeds into their uterus. My doctor thinks it is endometriosis but finds it odd as the pain shouldn’t have increased from the iud. Find a woman’s clinic and get an ultrasound, unfortunately the ER won’t do anything to help.

I went to my Obgyn and she said everything was in the right place and she was confused why I was in so much pain. I’m too scared to get it taken out because I don’t wanna get pregnant with the state of the U.S. right now💀
