I have extremely intense mood swings. Best way to snap me out of whatever funk I’m in is to 1. Make me feel understood via saying “it makes sense that you feel that way, you experienced x so it’s normal to feel y” 2. Make me feel safe via saying “you’re not in that situation anymore and you’re not that person anymore. You’re safe” 3. Reassure me “I’m here and I still love you and because I care, i need to take x hours to decompress myself but I’ll let you know when I’m okay”

complaining about stuff doesn’t always mean we’re unhappy with you. some boyfriends are their girls best friend, and we bond through venting

Sometimes I need alone time. It doesn’t mean I don’t like you or care about you. I just sometimes need a few hours where I just play video games and do nothing else.

I don't always like to be the one getting paid for. It makes me feel like a freeloader and I want to treat him as sweet as he is to me :(

Ah yes because it’s stupid to communicate with your partner and meet them where they’re at to continue conversations

Do you mean exclusivity like bf gf or going on dates casually with no commitment. Bc when you say "dating" people assume exclusivity
