I would tell her so that it doesn’t seem like you’re hiding it. Be straight with her and tell the truth. Hopefully she will understand

i say you don’t need to tell her, but i think it would be nice to have her as support incase you need to talk to someone about it but i am so sorry that this happened to you :(
