Absolutely not! Its only a red flag if the relationship you have with her gets in the way of dating such as constantly seeking her validation or approval or if she's heavily involved in your relationships. As long as you are still your own person I don't see this as a bad thing

Why would it be a bad thing for a guy to have a good relationship with his mom? The only time it would possibly be a bad thing is if he went to her with problems in our relationship instead of me. Or if he let her treat me poorly.
