Why are there no women in the chess top 100 ? I was looking at the overall FIDE ranking and was shocked that not a single woman is in the top 100, then I had to google that the highest ranking woman would be 166. What are the reasons ?

on average men tend to score higher than women on certain types of visual-spatial tasks too so maybe that ties in a tiny bit too

On a good note women’s wrestling is skyrocketing in popularity and competitiveness. I personally coach around 10 younger girls who are locked tf in and so dedicated and it’s actually awesome to see how much women’s wrestling is blossoming and being accepted by the community at large
