I’ve been talking with this girl for a while and I intended on asking her out in about 2 weeks we’ve been going on dates and basically have been acting like a couple but she tells me yesterday she has a boyfriend. I hate cheaters and now I don’t know.

as a woman with a boyfriend, that’s weird asf. i would never do consistent one on one (rather intimate) hangouts that mirror the “talking stage” of new relationships. having friends that are guys as a girl and vice versa is not a problem, but it feels odd that she wouldn’t say she has a boyfriend until so long into you knowing her

This sounds like friendly outings and that’s likely what she was thinking. Just hangouts and having a study partner. I have friends like that and we grab food together, study, and just hangout together just the 2 of us but we know it’s platonic
