I have done it several times, it’s not a big deal, they seem pretty surprised or they straight up don’t care, and if you like someone or think they’re nice, why not talking to them?

I’ve never approached a man in public, but I did ask a good friend what he thought about us dating. He declined (was not open to dating, period), but I was glad I put it out there and didn’t just wait eternally.

i don’t really have anybody to approach rn in mind. I was just asking bc i was genuinely curious to see if women actually approached guys before. idk i just personally never encountered, seen or heard of a girl approaching the guy first unless it’s like for content or a prank on social media lol

I’m always the one that approaches them, maybe that’s why they don’t take it seriously… when I do it most of the time it doesn’t get anywhere, but I like showing my interest and showing that I really care about them

That’s wild (that you approach all the time). If a girl showed the slightest of interest to me, im instantly planning things to do with her in my head 😂 so for you to actually take the initiative and approach is super unique and cool imo. I’m sure it’s gonna be a guy that falls for you bc of that. Keep being yourself!

yea i think it’s just that a good chunk of ppl grew up being told that the guy is supposed to go after the girl, not the other way around (not saying that that’s wrong or incorrect).
