I’m not sure about normal circumstances but mine are debilitating and I dread it every month it’s a continuous suffering cycle

I am having such a painful period rn as we speak. My cramps often time are so painful that I’m unable to walk or drive, there have been times when I’m actively driving when cramps set it in and I literally have to put my hazards on and sit there bc my body will not push the gas or break bc it’s in so much pain. Rn my cramps aren’t that bad, but I’m dealing with severe back pain. Feels like my back is strained in multiple places it hurts so bad

i’ve never gotten any cramps or actual pain, it sometimes makes me feel a little dizzy or achy though
