Very niche question, but in like grade/middle school, why did girls cry when they were told to move desks to certain boys? Like I will never forget a girl bawling their eyes out in the 7th grade cause the teacher assigned her to the desk next to me.

As a kid there were several guys who just made me rly uncomfortable, like some who were just bullies or whatever. Unrelated usually I would cry if I got in trouble so if I cried in a situation like that it was usually bc the teacher was mad at me and didn’t actually have anything to do with the dude

So I didn’t cry over these things but I certainly made faces. I was for some reason, assigned next to boys who genuinely harassed me and I was afraid of. I was constantly picked on in school and it made me afraid to go to classss.

She could have felt unsafe, had a different issue you didn’t know about, felt embarrassed if attention was on her, really liked where she was, or she could have thought it would make someone else upset with her
