I think it depends more on the amount of time we talk and how many times we’ve seen each other more than how much time has technically passed overall if that makes sense

few months for sure. under a month is kinda crazy to me. me and my bf were going out for 6 months before we became official. granted we both thought we didn’t want a relationship at first

all 4 of my serious relationships (including current) have had a talking stage less then 2 months and then officially dating within 2 weeks after the first date, although one was a guy i already knew so doesn’t really count. i only date to marry though and i’m also waiting for marriage so i always lay out expectations very clearly before or on the first date
