We always establish a safe word or safe sound. Usually it’s “caw caw” So when I hear her start caw cawing like a rabid crow, I know it’s too rough and settle down a little.

Safe words are great and all, but I personally prefer the stoplight method. Start slow, build up, check in, build up, check in etc. helps one get climated to the scene

Imma steal a traffic light and install it above my headboard that way if my girl thinks it’s too rough she just needs to go over to the switch box and trigger a red light (to light it up after the appropriate amount of time of yellow light has passed ofc)
