
real talk: prepare to spend a while building your style slowly (years!), don’t marry the aesthetic (wiggle room for self expression allows you to stick to one style that’s uniquely yours, inspired by others) and to know yourself well. i agree about pinterest but also take note of what you like irl !! take inspo from books & shows & musicians & hobbies as well as keeping track of what shapes/patterns/cuts/fabrics you actually like wearing. personal style can’t be prescribed, it has to be made
